Meet Pat Delagrange
Pat Delagrange is a self-taught artist, well-regarded in northeastern Indiana, for her elaborate murals and whimsical art work displayed in homes, schools, churches and restaurants throughout the region. Her business grew out of a desire to paint and still be a full-time mom to children Todd and Michelle. When husband Merv bought a lumberyard in the small town of Grabill, Indiana, Pat's vision of a "street" of retail shops blossomed into reality with The Old Lumberyard Shoppes. Fourteen years later, Pat and Merv sold the business and moved to Auburn, where they purchased the old church building, anticipating an intriguing new chapter of their lives.
Pat and Merv are now Grandma and Grandpa to Joshua, Victoria, Riley and Cooper (who loves to "work" with Grandma and announces the entrance of customers better than any doorbell), and are enjoying their current adventure. Walk through the entrance to the Busy Brush Gallery and Gifts, and you will not be a customer....you will become a friend.
